In addition to serving traditional breakfasts you can also get healthier options, lunch and even a cheeky cocktail! Best Off License

For me it is Shenfield Wines. As you hopefully will find – Shenfield has a village feel with a cosmopolitan vibe and a hidden gem is Shenfield Wines. Owner Nish holds different nights so whether there for wine Tasting, Cigar and Whiskey events in the ‘tasting room’ at the rear or if you buy a bottle of wine and a cigar to enjoy on the pavement seating area in front of the shop – you will be in safe hands!

Best Breakfast

Lot has to win this. It’s hard as there are so many options and all great- but the best thing about ‘The Lot’ (as it is locally known) is you go for breakfast and stay for lunch! Frequented by a few local celebs – sit on the heated terrace all year round and watch the world go by. A long-term family favourite and one of the reasons people come to Shenfield from surrounding towns – day and night!

Best Latte (non Oat!)

foureighty is more than a coffee shop,  starting life a hairdressers , the interior is a modern art space and with seating at the rear, front  and inside - seating is a lot more spacious than it first appears. With an almost Cult following, you may not know you like your coffee with a Guatemalan component, grown at high altitude on volcanic soil and served with LOVE – but you soon will at foureighty.

Best Brunch

Only 1 restaurant has a brunch every other week -so it has to be Sienna’s. We love their Bottomless Prosecco Brunch, occasional DJ’s, afternoon tea and their Sunday lunch using freshly cooked food – check their website and book to avoid disappointment it is not the largest of the restaurants in Shenfield! Alternatively if you need a space to host a meeting or presentation – Tom at Sienna’s offers a space for this also.

Best Place to watch Football.

Football, Rugby or boxing in fact. A local for 40+ years and right opposite the station, pop in on your way home from work or a great place to meet before jumping on the train on your way to Football. Fair to say most are on their way to Stratford for West Ham and if they win, lose  or draw, they will be back in HWB afterwards until closing time!
